Lifetime lost my cancellation notice and paperwork. Then they charged my credit card even though I specifically told them not to. They are refusing a refund even though I have contacted the BBB.

This SKOKIE 5300 Old Orchard Rd Skokie, IL 60077 at Lockwood Ave is the most Unreliable, overcrowded, noisy ,dirty Place we have encountered.

We Just signed up in Jan went only 6 times in one month Terrible place full of Kids Running around everywhere, looks like a Chucky cheese Unruly Kids Party all the time .Steam room Broken , No Customer service , We called The scam artist Membership Jeffrey guy , Who signed us he is saying call "CORPORATE " in Minneapolis He didnot even return our Calls for a three weeks.Then you have the managers EDWIN ,RACHEL GATES they all have ignored our calls and not issued Credits . In the mean time they keep charging 110 monthly fees .

Is there State attorneys of Illinois we can file our Grievance and these deceptive practices

they Not only charged us $250 Intiation fees but has charged for three months monthly fees totaling to $355 , in spite of cancelled our Membership within a month of Joining.

Please suggest what should we do , as they dont even belong to BBB illinois (RATINGS -)

Lifetime Fitness in Chicago, Illinois - Billing Cycle Issue

Moved to a new neighborhood (July 2) and the closest lifetime is a Gold, apposed to my old gym that was a Platinum. Went to change my membership (July 6th), $89 to $69, yet I still had to pay the platinum price for August due to the Billing Cycle. On top of that I have to pay a $10 charge for the switch. Also, Julie, the main person we talk to tried getting us to sign the new contract even though we clearly said we wouldn't pay the $10 fee. That is $30 more than I should have had to pay. Needless to say they are losing a customer over $30. Yet I pay over $800 a year. Bloomingdale Lifetime other issues: Dirty - Towels everywhere both upstairs and down stairs.

I have had a membership for several family members for over a year, which included my young adult daughter. Six months after she moved away and stopped using Lifetime, I requested that she be removed from the membership. Lifetime refused to allow me to remove her membership, they insisted that she had to come in personally. This is even though she had moved away and I was paying the monthly bill for six months with no use of the club. Then they start harassing my daughter to pay a monthly fee. When my daughter returns to town, she goes in to cancel and they charge a one month cancelation fee. Lifetime uses every deceptive trick they can think of to prevent people from canceling their membership and then adds insult to injury with their one month cancelation policy. It is very deceptive and not well disclosed. Be warned!

I am deeply disappointed with Lifetime fitness for their deceptive policy of charging customers an additional month when they terminate. This is done under the guise that their billing systems are designed that way and nothing can be done about it. Please beware such despicable practices and best is don't make the mistake of joining...

They definitely do this. Just happened to me today.

One person in Skokie tried to tell me that only the manager could cancel my membership and she was out. After being persistent (for 30 minutes) they miraculously found someone else who could cancel it.

#1)Monday July20th around 3:30 p.m.I saw a woman wearing a veil with only a small slit showing her eyes let into the club today.Why was her face not revealed to the attendant for security reasons.Just like the rest of us Americans!!How can you let her in without reveeling her face? Thats bad.#2) Also get rid of the plastic swim lane deviders in the outdoor pool.Those really disrupt the swimming in the pool.If people want to swim laps do it in doors.It'sa beutiful pool and those really ruin it.Maybe my member ship money should go to a different health club.Also last year I had Dustin Zorka as a trainer.I didn't likt the way he was always trying to sell me lifetime stuff.He was sumwhat forceful.I dropped him from fraing me.Not good.

They terminated a white straight guy from MN and they probably like the foreigners better than the real deals, its crazy times, the veil lady I bet lives with many people and I bet she struggles to bath at home, the new gym rat is homeless and our own people hate there own

People wear veils for religious purposes. Quit being so ignorant and afraid. If you cared to read more about other cultures and religions you wouldn't be so afraid of stupidity like a woman wearing a veil.

Lifetime Fitness - 3rd world attitude- Houston City Centre

Facilities dont work- you get hotter in the elevator than you do in the steam rooms; Paper signs up - Fountains are not for washing- really!; Locker sweeps we are charging you. Not professional signs but 8x11 injet paper in red letter. People in mgt eat at their desk and dont help you - they horse play and dont help you. They charge you a premium and you get less than a 30.00 monthly membership. This program says I have not typed 100 words per the above so I am typing this junk that goes with the complaint above. They do not have that much attractive activities based on age group. It Looks hiring a high school babysitter for a group of kids in a sport club. I do not believe consolres have any sport skills. It seems more problem for older kids. My 11 years old complains she is with small kids (9 years old) and almost same activity. As the consolers are not skilled, do not know how to manage this age gap. Most of them are not that much friendly and welcoming. Food is other issue. Although the company claims on right food and helping to improve the lifestyle of clients, food are not healthy choices and even snack. The price you are paying does not worth for this service.
