Lifetime Fitness - Basically a scam.

Just figured out this is all basically a scam. Signed up for a nonexistent "30 day challenge" as well as personal training, etc. Was told that i would be instructed how to use equipment and be provided with nutrition consult. Out several hundred dollars but have definitely learned my lesson and will use more scrutiny if i decide to try a gym in the future.

Personal training staff is horrible.Trainers quit and I was left with sessions that weren't refunded. When I asked they told me to contact the ex-employee. Do not deal with Jeff Y or Peter M.Total scam!

They would only allow me to end my contract after charging $170 again for a "30 day notice", I asked If I could still use the gym for those 30 days and was denied. I lost of $3341 within four months of going to LifeTime fitness and now looking for a new club that has...

I won't say that they are predatory, I'll just say that it's way harder to be treated fairly when quitting the club than should be true for an "upscale, exclusive, expensive enterprise. Nice gym, a bit intimidating for those used to "lesser clubs"; nice pools, often...

Hope you never have a medical emergency at Lifetime. Only department heads & personal trainers have any mandatory first aid/CPR training. And at a 24 hour gym, there isn't always someone working with those qualifications. You would think with how expensive this gym...
